Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Ruby on Rails and be responsible for building complex, scalable, and high-quality web applications that meet the evolving needs of our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic using Ruby on Rails.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Integrate data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop new features.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in Ruby on Rails and related technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as ERB and SLIM.
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.
• A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code.
• Experience with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with development aiding tools such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc.
• Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with continuous integration.
